We woke up to a rainy dreary day so we started hauling out all of our supplies... It was a very creative day for us!
Some of these cards will be at the August make n takes at Scrapbook 101. Others you will see at future make n takes, we are finally realizing our goal of creative ahead....

Both of these cards were designed by Tina. You can make these cards at Scrapbook 101 for only $1.50 each. How about having a beautiful hand made wedding card for that very special day!

The second card is a very favorite of mine to teach. It is called the quilt square. You make this quilt design and feel like a real accomplished quilter! Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday. Remember Linda and Tina are there on Saturday from 9am - 6 pm to help anyone who needs it. The cards will be available to make on Tuesday & Thursday 12-7pm, Wednesday 10 am -7 pm. All cards are only $1.50 to make.

I have finally been able to have one of my dreams come true in more ways than one.... We have branched out and are teaching make n takes at a local scrap booking store.. Now I will definitely know what dead lines and late creative nights are....

Last month was our debut and we had a fairly good turn out. I was please since it is Summer and we were competing with many other things. Like weddings and graduation parties!

Here are a couple of pictures of Linda and I that day.... Check out our cool t-shirts we had made with LT Cards and our blog name on the back. Everyone knew who to ask for help :-)

Linda and I are busy designing some new cards for the April card class!! We have some new tools and toys that will be used! Please save the last Saturday in April.... I will post more information later! I am thinking about what kind of specials or let's just say gimmicks would get more people to come!! Last month we had 11 ladies YEAH :-)

Spring Card Class

Hello Linda and I have been teaching a card class at our church (Emmanuel Congregational Church). We had one class in December and another in February. It has been a great group of ladies each time. We are working on projects for another class in either March or early April.

Here are a few our designs from the Feb. class!

The top right card has a unique bow that was made with a special bow maker... You can actually make double and tripple looped bows in a snap!

Alcohol inks

On Saturday I had a absolute blast creating this cards using alcohol inks for creating the background colors. The butterfly and dragon fly and were stamped on vellum that was first colored with the alcohol ink. I had so much fun making these that I will have to broaden the themes for summer time!!

Linda has been hard at work to paint some more.. She has added yellow and purple flowers now and they are so pretty for Spring time.....
